Portfolio and tax, in one place

Everything you own, and what it means for your taxes. One correct record.

Upload your mutual fund CAS and broker statements. Ubeeno checks every unit against the statement's own printed totals, then shows your capital gains, the losses you can still use, and what filing will look like — and every number opens up to the lots behind it.

By invitation while we open to our first investors.

Built for the three things that go wrong

Everyone else either tracks your portfolio or files your return. The mistakes happen in between.

Imports that tell you what they couldn't read

An import isn't finished when the file uploads. Ubeeno ties units and value back to your statement's own totals and says plainly what it read, what it couldn't, and why — instead of a portfolio that is quietly 80% complete.

One FIFO across every broker

The Income-tax Act counts your oldest units first across your whole holding of a security, whichever broker bought them. Ubeeno does too, so a sale is classed short-term or long-term the way the law sees it, not the way one broker's report does.

Every number opens up

Click any figure — a gain, a holding period, a grandfathered cost — and see the lots, dates, charges and rule that produced it. If you can't trace a number, you shouldn't have to trust it.

How it works

  1. Request an invite. We're opening Ubeeno to investors a few at a time. You'll get an email with your sign-in link.
  2. Upload your statements. Your consolidated account statement (CAS) from CAMS, KFintech, NSDL or CDSL, and your broker's tax P&L. A statement password is used once to open the file and then discarded.
  3. See one reconciled picture. Every fund and share across folios and brokers, valued each night from the official NAVs published for every scheme, with your gains and losses for the year.
  4. Take it to filing. Export Schedule 112A and a capital-gains pack your CA can check line by line against your statements.

For mutual fund investors

Most of what you own probably sits in mutual funds. Ubeeno is built around that.

  • Reads detailed and summary CAS, including funds held in demat.
  • Values every holding each night from the official NAVs published for every scheme, including Specialized Investment Funds.
  • Works out 31 January 2018 grandfathering from the official historical NAVs instead of asking you for it.
  • Keeps direct and regular plans, and growth and IDCW options, apart — they are different NAVs.
